_Ponies must NOT be tied to trailers

_ Bring your Body Protector to all Pony Club activities, compulsory for jumping

_ Only children who are members of the Pony Club may be mounted on the field

_ Medical Armbands (with photo) compulsory for all interbranch/national competitions (with Membership card inserted)

_ No Jewellery allowed for safety reasons.

_ When you dismount for any reason, stirrups must be run-up properly.

_ Check you stitching on all tack.

_ Remind yourself of the Code of Conduct and Guidelines for Parents.

_ Ponies must NEVER be left in UNHITCHED trailers

_ Only SKULL CAPS are allowed for any cross country (no fixed peak hats)

_ New/All members please note, owing to the revised regulations, we would advise anybody buying a new hat that a skullcap is suitable for ALL Pony Club activities. A skullcap can look very smart with a dark coloured cover

The Pony Club does everything possible to make our sport as safe as possible. That said, riding is a risk sport. Each member should have a parent or responsible person in attendance on the field during all Pony Club activities.  Children hacking to Pony Club events, should be accompanied by a parent/guardian while on the public road, and must arrange to have an adult present on the field.
